This could ABSOLUTELY REVOLUTIONIZE Cooties Testing!
...instead of the nasal schwab method, I propose a different method!
I hate to toot my own horn, but back in 2020, I suggested a rather simple alternative to the whole brain-poking procedure with the schwab for testing this mysterious illness, which oddly enough shares symptoms with the flu. But of course, one is called the flu, and the other is called Covid so they must be totally different... The brain-probing, they claimed, was necessary because apparently, that's where and how they could “accurately test for cooties.”
I never really understood why that was necessary if your breath was so deadly… I mean, that’s why they also pushed the suffocation devices, right?
So, my simple idea was: why not just breathe on the schwab? (heh-heh) I mean, if your breath is so potent, why bother digging around in your brain?
Now, the CDC has come up with something even more revolutionary for cooties testing: wastewater testing.
Gross.
By the way, isn't your DNA your property?
Anyway, this community wastewater testing to track “viral” loads and trends in cities is what our pals at the CDC are recommending and working on with health departments.
I thought this topic tied in nicely with the whole idea of drinking sewer water — a concept that is becoming reality in California. If you missed that article, you can read it here, all about making tap water from crap water.
Now, the CDC, in all its glory, established the National Wastewater Surveillance System (NWSS) in 2020. This system essentially snoops around in the sewer. They claim NWSS transforms local efforts of tracking this data into a robust national surveillance system.
Here's the rundown on what they want to do: “People infected with SARS-CoV-2 can shed the virus in their feces, even if they don’t have symptoms. The virus can then be detected in wastewater, enabling wastewater surveillance to capture presence of SARS-CoV-2 shed by people with and without symptoms. This allows wastewater surveillance to serve as an early warning that COVID-19 is spreading in a community. Once health departments are aware, communities can act quickly to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Data from wastewater testing support public health mitigation strategies by providing additional crucial information about the prevalence of COVID-19 in a community.”
Because, you know, sick people mainly don't have symptoms. (Be sure to watch my video above for my snark on that!) But wait, let's revisit the definition of 'symptom': “a physical or mental feature indicating a condition of disease, particularly such a feature apparent to the patient.” So, a symptom is something you notice because your body signals it.
But guess what? The CDC says you don't need symptoms; you could be sick without knowing it. This ridiculous narrative conveniently gives the government the illegitimate authority to surveil, track, and trace you. Because you know… if its in the name of public health and security they can do whatever they want...
And now, the grand plan is to test your poo.
The research I've uncovered so far is quite sketchy, and I have loads of questions about the legitimacy, reliability, efficacy, and ethics of it all.
Here's the biggest red flag: it's an easy way for a city to say, “Oh, the community wastewater levels show that cooties are on the rise. Let's shut down in this area until levels lower.”
So #1 they could flag entire communities for mass quarantines (and every US state has their own laws in place for quarantine and isolation).
How can they test for something that doesn’t exist?
Oops… I forgot I need to base my questions around the hypothetical existence of cooties.
So how exactly are they testing this? How reliable are the tests?
Issue #2: How do we opt out? This is a non-intrusive way for them to track so there’s no real way to opt-out individually.
The argument is that the emphasis of wastewater testing is on “community-level surveillance” rather than individual testing which allows public health officials to understand trends and potential outbreaks within a geographic area without directly implicating individual privacy and WWT focuses on “aggregated data rather than individual samples” which helps maintain individual privacy.
Issue #3: The whole concept is flawed. How does the presence of something in the wastewater give any indication as to who it’s from? Perhaps there are just a few people who are “shedding” into the toilet — how can this be extrapolated into implicating everyone else? And what if the poo perpetrators were from out of town, just “passing through” (ugh) — how do you account for travelers using gas stations, amusement parks, etc? But the entire community is now infected?
This hasn’t made senss from Day One, and it certainly doesn’t now…
But here's the silver lining: you could turn the tables on the tyrants. Imagine if your employer insists on cooties testing for you because you refuse to become a human pin cushion… Instead of giving a brain matter sample, why not provide a different kind of sample?
In other words, don’t swipe — wipe!

I really enjoyed laughing my butt off!!
Who better than the CDC to know all about sewers? That's whence they come from. I love your idea Peggy, it's a pisser.
