With all his billions floating around couldnt he support family farms via Nicole Shanahans Nicole vision for a sustainable future supporting regenerative agriculture. Its not solely about profit with technocracy experts governing every aspect of American health/lives and replacing our value and human role in devloping the market. wow. that's a lot to take in. everybody was getting all excited about the overhaul because Verizon and AT&T and all of our other communications and transportation technologies had been completely hijacked by China.
Musk definitely seems goofy and I do wonder about his accomplishments. I have a cousin who became very wealthy because of the success of my father and that Cousin has bought his now grown daughter a bunch of "easy bake oven" businesses (I call them that because of the "turn key" nature of it all-everything about them are premade by somebody else and all you have to do is pull a lever to make them work ) that he basically owns but she gets the glorification of being seen as the person managing them . It's always insulting to me and my sister when my cousin puts his daughter who is half our age into a conversation so as to give us business advice. It's laughable really. Our own parents who created the fortune that has so blessed my cousin and his family with the opportunities and advantages they've enjoyed did not see their own daughters as fit to be groomed for future prosperity in that company. Quite the opposite actually. We were very literally thrown to the wolves and left to fend for ourselves and prove our worth of any kind of inheritance we might get when we hit our 70s.

The tax-payer subsidy to the companies of Musk is far more than that reported by funding agencies. You have the state and local subsidies provided to him for the location of his factories in their jurisdiction; the mandates/goals which federal, state and local governments have created for switching from gas to electric; the decision of governments to purchase electric vehicles; the incentives/rebates/ tax credits/write-offs that were or still are provided to purchasers of electric vehicles, and probably many other special corporate tax incentives that have been provided to his companies. All of which are paid by the tax payers and future generations.
