Way back in the '50s (for sure, might have been operational a bit earlier) we had a system of radar installations up, called the DEW (Distant Early warning) Line,which was actually 3 lines of coverage, 1 across the northern border and 2 more ranging across Canada , 1 inside the Arctic circle, which automatically activated certain defensive measures, including CONELRAD (a older version of civilian alert system signals via radio and TV). the point here, is that it was automatic, even with that "primitive" tech. I would suspect, although I'm not privy to all the details of Iron Dome, it has similar alert actions that automatically come on line when "in-coming" is detected; the Israelis are not stupid, and it would be stupid to not have a similar type system in place, especially as often as it has been needed to defend their citizens. First some background I have been digging very very deep on the Oct 7th event since the beginning. Posting over 800 vids so far on my social media channels and also making some very long vids myself about the event.. My last complete vid is over 7 hours long cut into 2 vids , one 4 hours long the other 3 hours long..
