I homeschooled my kids back when it wasn’t acceptable…. daughter will be 39 this year. When I had to put them back in school (divorce), they both scored post high school on their entrance exams… daughter went back in 9th grade and son went back in 6 th grade. I was working full time when I homeschooled…. you’re absolutely right, learning happens at any time, not just when you are sitting at a desk

Thank you, Peggy, for timely good information and advice.

One thing I would add is that the online resources available very often comes with the cost of seeing inappropriate, subtly satanic messages.

Example: I just quit using Duolingo to learn Italian because the animation was just too much to accept, although I really enjoyed and was happy with the language content.

Check it out, you won’t believe your eyes… but you will see what I’m talking about - unfortunately.

Wow -- wee! Thank you for sharing that caution... you are so right! There are some very nefarious ones out there, like wolves in sheep's clothing!

Right??

The children are especially at-risk as these apps play like games, and kids should not be spending all that time exposed to EMF on top of that.

Peggy, why do I like all of your stuff?! 👏🏾 I have a teammate who’s homeschooled their child all their life. The child is now 14 taking classes at the local community college.

I was introduced to education via the late great John Taylor Gatto. His work on the origins of modern education inspired the education chapter in my book which I write about here: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/origins-of-modern-education

When one realizes that the goal of education is not to make smarter but actually to train individuals to work for a corporation in an orderly fashion, we realize that we just do whatever we can to keep our children away from public schooling — or minimize its affects dramatically

Again, thanks for the wonderful post. When I see an article from The Healthy American, I look to read it asap!

With Love and Support! Franklin 😊
