The key is to turn the pain that we feel when we see injustice and violence into positive action and this is healing and empowering not only to our world but to ourselves as well. My wife Madeleine and I are now on our 5-month "Food for Freedom" cross-country lecture tour and just completed the first leg of 33 events encouraging people to make connections between animal liberation and human liberation. As we so, we reap. By doing our best to question and not comply with narratives that promote the exploitation and enslavement of animals, we liberate our health and our culture. As a former San Diego resident, my heart is broken to hear about what has happened to this once beautiful city. Between the border invasion, the 15-minute cities, the conversions of apartments to condos and back again, and the horrible laws enacted throughout the state, San Diego will need a miracle.
We’ve done all the things suggested here — attending board meetings, writing letters, sharing videos, reaching out to representatives and local officials. We also worked on political campaigns, donate to worthy people and causes, and talk directly with people whenever possible. I also write a (modestly read) Substack (https://eolson47.substack.com).
Unfortunately, not enough people read and share, nor do most take action. We need at least 10% of people all working together (not bringing each other down) to speak up and to firmly non-comply. Even then, success is not guaranteed because our politicians, bureaucrats, deep state, military and pharma industrial complexes, and others don’t care or gain huge financial benefits and control by their actions.

Someone suggested decentralized communities. Everyone has a unique skill and talent. One has a green thumb, one has medical training, one has teaching abilities, one good with fixing cars, plumbing, electrical, etc. Each do what you can independent of government and banks. Peggy, I just wanted to let you know that every time I have clicked on the thumbnail of your video in your emails it takes me to the video, but to a spot minutes in to the video, not at the beginning. Maybe you intend that to skip the intro and sponsor's message, but in case it's unintentional here is how you start from the beginning. When you click the share icon and copy the link to your video, you need to make sure that the box at the bottom that says "Start at..." and then a time stamp is not checked. That way the link will be to the video and it will be cued up at the beginning of the video.
At the end of it you will see t=228s. That means the variable t (assuming it stands for time) is 228s into the video. 228 seconds = 3 minutes 48 seconds.
I was going to reply to your email, but thought I would post a comment so in case anyone hasn't noticed and has been wondering why the videos seem to start abruptly in mid sentence that's why, and if you want to hear the video from the beginning just rewind to the start.
