AMEN! Every time someone says 'democracy' it makes me want to scream and pull my hair out! Sometime I yell, "we are not a democracy"! My family rolls their eyes and reminds me that only they can hear me, and they know that we are not a democracy. lol If I am ever at a live meeting where a speaker calls America or even Idaho, a 'democracy', I will shout out that we are not a democracy!!!

Keep up the good work and God bless.

I appreciated the article. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but their nonchalant disrespect for the founding documents of our country has made me feel like the foundation is literally being ripped out from underneath us. The very thing that's supposed to protect us from a tyrranical government is the thing they're trying to destroy so they can go full-on crazy and do whatever they want (basically tyrranize us). It's very sneaky how they try to change things in the Constitution. They always try to make it seem like it's to change a law so it will work better for the public's benefit. It's never really about that. It's about finding ways to undermine the Constution to give them more power. Ignoring safeguards that protect the public from tyrants is not "progress". Human nature never changes.

Thank you, Peggy, for speaking publicly about this topic! Whenever I hear the the word "Democracy", I either think the person is ignorant or is pushing an agenda to get rid of our U.S. Constitutional Republic and convert our country into a "Democracy" where minorities ("We the people") don't have a vote or a say in a matter. This was confirmed by a campaign ad I received from RFK, Jr. (who is a Democrat wearing Independent clothes) who said that "T" was a threat to "our democracy". Well, of course he is! That's because our country is NOT a democracy, as you stated, and "T" is a "Nationalist" who stands for our unique identity as a sovereign nation, our "U.S. Constitutional Republic" and for "We The People", who are minorities of all races!

RFK, Jr. also used the words "grassroots strategy" in the same campaign ad, which is another word that is NOT being talked about. I did a web search of what the word "grassroots" means and the OxfordLearnersDictionaries.com summed it up nicely by defining it as "ordinary people in society or in an organization, rather than the leaders or people who make decisions". To me, what RFK, Jr. was saying was that "ordinary people" (meaning "We the People") are NOT the leaders and NOT the decision makers. He was advertising that we need "HIM" (an elite politician), to make the decisions for us and that the decision he is planning to make for us is to do away with our Constitutional Republic and create a Democracy! No, No, No, No. No! That's not the way our Constitutional Republic works and is just the opposite, as you stated. The "ordinary people" are the decision makers and the "leaders" of a Constitutional Republic are comprised of "ordinary people", not the elite. The "ordinary people" elect one of their own, a "Representative", to speak for them as a whole. If that "Representative" abuses their position, the "ordinary people" vote them out, or press charges against them in some way for abuse of authority, and chose a different "Representative". It's up to us, the "ordinary people" to make sure the "Representatives" WE choose from among us are actually representing us!

"Grassroots" is not a bad word in and of itself, but the use of it by a politician can be very telling about who they "THINK" they are! So when I hear a political candidate using the words "democracy" and "grassroots strategy" in their campaigns, it's a RED FLAG to me of what their true agenda is, which is to get rid of "we the people" (our voice), get rid of our Constitutional Republic (comprised of ordinary people), get rid of our National Sovereignty (our national identity) and make it all about what "they", the "elite", want! In the UN, there are 193 member states and 2 non-member states (last I read), and each member state has an allotted number of representatives (?). These are the "elite" who want to make the decisions for the entire world, decisions for billions of "ordinary people", whom "the elite" consider all to be "minorities" that don't have a voice in a democracy. In order for that to happen, they have to take away the leadership and decision making abilities of "ordinary people", our grassroots. The USA is one of the last nations in the world that is governed by "ordinary people" via representatives they choose. I believe that is why the "elite" are pushing "Democracy" and trying to brainwash "ordinary people" into believing that we are already a "Democracy". If they can brainwash us into believing something that is not true, that we are already a Democracy, then we won't know that our decision making power was taken away from us and put into the hands of "the elites", so we won't put up a fight.

I appreciate your insights, especially this: "He was advertising that we need "HIM" (an elite politician), to make the decisions for us and that the decision he is planning to make for us is to do away with our Constitutional Republic and create a Democracy!"

Spot on Peggy. Would that more and more of us—learn the “words of art”. I’m just beginning to do that. You are so so correct about “Democracy” vs a Constitutional Republic.
