I own a vacation rental in West Maui. I just received the "FEMA Letter," today. December 27, 2023. Inviting me to a meeting about this program that was held on December 21, 2023. A bit late there. You morons.

The terms are a wonderment. FEMA will pay the HOA fees and all utilities. The RE taxes, waived. And the letter didn't say, but maybe they will pay my former property management company their forgone management fees? Last year those were $17,000.

They hired three property managers to handle us. One of them will be contacting me. Not, if you are interested, contact us. Instead, in BOLD:

"You will be contacted by one of the property management companies below, on behalf of FEMA, to lease the unit."

This sounds like a threat. Do what we say. Or Else.

How did we get here?!

Thank you Peggy, I am starting to see the grand plan a bit better now. They take from those who still have and shame them for not taking full financial responsibility for the the victims of a government planned disaster. Corporate rule #1 always use other peoples money.

Officials are in it together. We need to unravel the web of nefarious camaraderie at the top.

A fellow commentator shared this link. It’s well worth a listen. Wake up folks and get involved: https://rumble.com/v2ig80s-hawaii-elections-whistleblower-austin-martin.html

If only he would force Oprah and other celebrities with massive mansions and estates on Maui to house families.

Bigger question - once they get everyone consolidated, what will they do with all that land?

I posted a comment earlier today and want to post a link to this video from CALIF Insider. THIS is part of the reason WHY nothing is getting done about the homeless. It is about 35 min long.

Here is the writing on the wall with this one: get shills (paid by the Hawaiin Government) to be long-term renters (wink, wink) victims of the fire from four months ago and then change the rules as you go along and say, well, they are unfit to pay the rent and you as an owner HAVE to allow the so-called victim's of the fire forgo paying the rent and the properties go into foreclosure and sold at a closed auction! THE FIX IS IN once again!

Yes the looks on the face of his signer says it all. This geek is a top notch douchebag. What fascist rockpile do they dig these bedwetters out from under? Keep up the excellent analytical work. Merry Christmas!

It's social engineering. Slosh is trying to divide the community, and divide those of us outside of Hawaii that have been following this and see what is going on.

What do you do when too many people are rightfully criticizing you and your crony parasites for what you are doing, for what you should have but failed to do? Easy answer! Implement the familiar old divide and conquer strategy. "Those greedy, selfish property owners don't want to help out the unfortunate people in their community that had their houses burn to ash".

So not only does this harm those short-term rental property owners, as you say Peggy. But it also harms the local economy in every way that tourism supports the local economy. Not only did the fire already harm the tourist industry there, he wants to keep it going for years. Chances are too that these short-term rental property owners NEED that income to keep those properties and maybe their primary residence.

Oprah could sure kick down with some help or housing on her Maui estate.

They are determined to crush and eliminate the middle class. We're a torn in their "build back better" side.

Yes indeed. Zuckerdroid could too. He has actually put a wall and locked gate around 'his land' that keeps people from getting to their rightfully owned land which is inside of his perimeter. If they try to enter and cross his land they will be arrested for trespassing. these overly rich globalist parasites are disgusting.

I'm not sure, Peggy, that the vacation rental owners are going to be all that upset about this. It appears, at least from watching Eric West reports, that the tourist economy on Maui may be dead in the water, and likely to stay so, what with the toxic waste dump planned for just south of Lahaina. Everything is so lawless right now, I'm not sure that this is going to be the worst thing that happens.

Toxic waste dump? Geez, they are really attacking these people of Lahaina right now.

Protecting property rights is fundamental in a democracy. This guy is absolutely correct when he says he will face litigation and if there is justice he will lose. Maybe his shadowy backers have lots of money to spend in the courts to bankrupt property owners and take over their land - the ultimate goal of these slimy characters.

Expand full comment

These people are absolute slime. They could work with the US military bases on the islands to put up military base style housing for these people until their homes are rebuilt. Yes this is a land grab, yes this is a genocide.

Something else that needs to be remembered and look at in addition to the ongoing land grab, people dead, children missing is how many of those people and families that died were part of the Hawaii homesteads case? They were to start receiving a pay out from a 24 year case fight in court . They won 328 million, in September 2023. What about releasing that money NOW so that the remaining people can start rebuilding their homes???

Expand full comment

Well that is an interesting little tidbit! I want to know the answer to your question, "How many of those people and families that died were part of the Hawaii homesteads case?" too!

You're right about the military bases. And after all the disasters that FEMA has 'managed' if they still don't have a plan to to quickly roll in temporary shelters while people's homes are rebuilt, what good are they?

Yep, this was a planned extermination, and the more you learn about it the worse it gets.

I’m a nice person, Peggy, but Governor Green’s actions during his entire time of “lordship” just pisses me off -- and his newest proclamation of “benevolence” pulled the plug on my demeanor.

I’m a property owner on Hawaii island. I have family members who have helped on Maui after Lahaina’s devastation. We all know what really happened.

I wonder how much money Green is getting to continue to foment a much larger agenda? I guess we could call this another “Green(s) New Deal”.

Have you heard of Open The Books? They are a non-profit that investigates government spending. And where appropriate, they also track down where money is coming in to individuals whose wealth increase skyrockets in times of crisis that they are in charge of overseeing - think Fauci. They have a substack account and a website of their name .com. You might want to contact them and suggest they investigate Slosh and his crony parasite partners in crime. If you could get a number of people to send in those suggestions all the better. What their work turns up is next level, they are well worth following in my opinion.

Sounds like a great idea, I wish we had that in Australia (for us Healthy Australians - haha). But seriously I would love to know how they access that kind of information.

Expand full comment

Me too (knowing how they access that information)! It's like they are forensic accountants - the stuff they dig up. I'm not sure how many are in their investigative team, but they are prolific. They dig up so much information, and an article is written which pulls in various different aspects of the corruption and wasteful spending depending on the situation.

Yes, they could definitely do with branches in all the commonwealth countries at the very least.

You are so right! I can't stand the demonization of landlords and small business owners. Green is living the dream of egregious government overreach. Let's shut down this plan so it doesn't infect the other islands!!

I haven’t watched the whole video yet ... but as an elder who has watched the AirBnB phenomenon be a big part of the housing crisis in Hawaii and all over where tourism is prominent including my home town in California, I have seen the homeless problem escalate because people with money buy up the homes in tourist areas and rent them by the night or week at exorbitant prices so they can profit while homes are unavailable to hardworking people just trying to survive end up living in their vehicles.

I am a well researched digital warrior who is well aware of the WEF agenda rolling out and love you, dear Peggy, and all you are exposing... but tourism is a rich people’s entertainment.. I was with a wealthy man at one point in this long life but he left me for my brother and my dark night of the soul has awakened me to the Bigger Picture from a much Broader Perspective... The imbalance of wealth is shocking in this matrix of lies and deception. Everyone deserves a home regardless of the insanity of government agendas and control maneuvers.... I will watch the rest of your video and perhaps have more to say... but tourism and vacation rentals are part of the old world that is crumbling and religion along with it.... Aloha 🌺❤️🌺

“Everyone deserves a home regardless of the insanity of government agendas and control maneuvers...”

I live in Maui. Just keep in mind that if Green bullies the STRs it won’t be long before he tells us who will be living in our private homes ... because we have room (for the homeless, illegal immigrants, etc). I would love for everyone to have a home, BUT everyone does not deserve a home. Luma, you volunteer the extra space in your home for the homeless and then I’ll find you credible.

I very much understand your viewpoint. I've read about this happening in the historic districts in Europe as well. It's the governor's approach that I take issue with, and his operating outside of the legislature. Let the people's voices be heard, not just the governor's hammer.
