An article related to this was included in this mornings headline for a local Santa Barbara county news outlet. Bless their hearts they even include a parking tutorial video, how very kind of them. This article has a good overview photo of a finished version of what you described Peggy. I first learned of all this “traffic calming” nonsense from someone who was on the SB city council and started looking into all the stack and pack building projects and discovered the Agenda 21 stuff. At that time I thought it was just looney environmental stuff. It was not until all of Newsom making us home prisoners that I had ample time to research things. In my case the only good thing that came out of that time period eye opening to many of my questions. Now I know Agenda 21 is an entire control process.

I am familiar with charming Encinitas from living in SD north county for a few years.

Scottsdale, AZ has been doing the road diet stuff. Have even seen a road sign posted by the city about it.

Fountain Hills, AZ, northeast of Scottsdale is currently doing some “road diet” projects and the little news article about it called it “road diet” and described it as reducing traffic lane sizes.

Seeing the same thing in San Luis Obispo. It is all so nonsensical until one understands the actual goal. 😡 I used to love going into SLO Town and now I avoid it as much as possible. It has lost its quaintness and to some extent it's beauty.

Lompoc is going to be under the attack of this insanity. It was recently announced for Lompoc and Guadalupe. The loons in south county who ruined SB are now expanding to north SB County. Santa Maria has had at least one

large sign up about its net zero non sense.
